Eight network operators in Germany and Austria choose cloud solution
Numerous network operators have decided in favor of ocilion’s cloud solution within a short period of time in order to offer their customers a modern TV product. With ETN (counties of Emsland and Kloppenburg), EWF Connect (Northern Hesse), FairNetz (Reutlingen), Stadtwerke Lengerich, Stadtwerke Rostock and Telepark Passau, six German and Elektro Pühringer (Perg/Mühlviertel) and Luwy TV-IT (Kremstal) are two Austrian providers new on ocilion. All eight network operators are in the middle of the implementation phase. FairNetz and ETN (SURFN.) are already live, Stadtwerke Lengerich (Teutel) and Stadtwerke Rostock will soon be launching their IPTV offerings for their end customers.
Thanks to the modular IPTV solution from ocilion, all network operators can seamlessly integrate their own TV product in their design, including an individual user interface, into their product portfolio. End customers benefit from numerous time-delayed functions such as replay, restart, pause/play, recordings, an integrated video library, 4K set top boxes, apps and extensive free and pay TV channel packages. ocilion delivers the turnkey IPTV complete system, with which providers can offer a modern and future-proof TV product quickly and easily.
Hans Kühberger, ocilion CEO: “More and more network operators are opting for their own IPTV service. With our modular solution, we offer both large and small operators the opportunity to quickly start a future-proof TV service. In this way, they bring their customers state-of-the-art entertainment under their own brand into their living rooms in the shortest possible time. As a driver for fiber optic expansion, IPTV is also the future of regional providers. With a comprehensive product portfolio and all services from a single source, end customers receive everything they want directly from their local provider.”
