Accounting changes depress telecom and pay TV growth in 2018
Nov 9, 2018 – Worldwide spending on Telecom Services and Pay TV Services will increase by 0.6% in 2018, according to IDC. Over of the 2017-2022 forecast period, the market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 0.8%.

Spending on telecom and pay TV services to speed up slightly in 2018
May 14, 2018 – Worldwide spending on telecommunications services and pay TV services reached $1,662 billion in 2017, an increase of 1.4% Y-o-Y, according to IDC. IDC believes that the growth rate will accelerate to 1.6% in 2018, bringing spending to $1,689 billion.
