IPTV poised to transform Korea's TV entertainment
Jan 19, 2009 – Three firms (KT, LG Dacom and SK Broadband) are licensed to provide IPTV services in Korea. All are making extensive investments in the business over the next five years with real-time broadcasts having begun on January 1, 2009.

Oct 30, 2008 – SK broadband (KOSDAQ: 033630) has announced its results for the third quarter of 2008. SK broadband's 'broad&tv' service had acquired about 760,000 subscribers by the end of September 2008. Full IPTV is planned for December.
