This solution supports in- home distribution and content protection along with enhanced UX using Android framework.

The Tata Elxsi Next Generation Hybrid STB Reference solution demonstrated the following

QAM & IP Enabled CPE – running Android, along with seamless media sharing across devices, an innovative UX and connected TV applications.

It delivers an innovative user experience, integrating Advertisement, Gaming, Social Network Media solutions with a platform Independent, single chip cost-effective solution for hybrid CPE leveraging Android and extensible to support OCAP applications.

This solution is being demonstrated at booth no 21739, South Hall 1, Connected Home, Las Vegas Convention Center, CES 2012.
