Slovenia's SiOL TV reaches 101k subscribers at end-2Q09

Business Report Of The Telekom Slovenia Group And Telekom Slovenije, D.D. – January-June 2009
LJUBLJANA — In the first six months of 2009, the revenues of the Telekom Slovenia Group (Telekom Slovenije d.d.) [Ljubljana:TLSG] decreased by 1 per cent, that is by EUR 410.8 million, compared to the same period last year.

In April, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., and Planet 9, d.o.o., updated the interface for SiOL TV plus services. The upgraded interface has further developed function, transparency and usability. It also includes a special search function by content, title, actor, director and year for films in the video on demand system.
Since 1 June Telekom Slovenije, d.d., has offered its SiOL TV users a range of new TV channels including Sportklub, Disney Channel, MGM, and Da Vinci Learning. Since 1 July SiOL TV has been available in three different packages – Basic, Standard and Mega with two additional options.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
The largest Internet service provider in Republika Srpska is Teol, an internet unit within the national operator Telekom Srpske under the majority ownership of Telekom Srbija. Most users still use dial-up internet access, while the most popular forms of broadband access are ADSL, offered by Teol, and wireless WiFi access, which is primarily sold by Aneks.
Aneks had a 22% share of the broadband access market at the end of June 2009.
Following its acquisition of Netcom in Profel, Aneks had almost 9,000 cable TV connections at the end of the half-year, 40% of the Banja Luka cable market. The main competitors are Elta and Total TV.

The number of television service subscribers has increased by 71% within one year to almost 102,000 by the end of June
2009.

In mid-March Ipko started offer digital cable TV, and had achieved over 42,000 connections by the end of June 2009.
