300,000 connected TVs sold in Germany

According to Germany’s Gesellschaft für Unterhaltungs- und Kommunikationselektronik (GFU), in the period May to October 2009, more than 300,000 connected TVs were sold in the country.

Over 100 online services for TVs are available in Germany such as Net TV, Yahoo Widgets, Panasonic’s VieraCast, Sony Corp’s AppliCast and Sharp Corp’s Aquos Net.
