KPN adds 187,000 TV subscribers in 2013

DEN HAAG — KPN has published its 2013 full year results. KPN’s IPTV proposition resulted in another quarter of strong IPTV net adds (80k) leading to a TV market share of 25%.
KPN finished 2013 with 1.953 million TV subscribers, up 187,000 over the year, an increase of 10.6%. IPTV subscribers grew by 350,000 (34.6%) more than offsetting a decline of 163,000 (-21.6%) in Digitenne subscribers.

1. Q4 2012 includes 126k FttH customers, of which 109k TV customers (60k IPTV and 49k analogue), 100k triple play packages, and 116k broadband customers, from acquisition FttH service providers and Q2 2012 includes 13k FttH customers from Lijbrandt acquisition.
2. Other includes Digitenne used as primary TV connection and analogue TV customers.
