MADRID, Spain — SIDSA, the International provider of digital technology, will be looking to Latin America at NAB 2009 in Las Vegas, between April 20 and 23 at its booth C1548, seeking further expansion. The company has carried out several DVB trials, both on DVB-T (terrestrial) and DVB-H (mobile TV) in countries such as Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay and Panama, with plans to lead some other DVB projects in the region later on this year.

SIDSA has become a key technology partner in Latin America promoting the DVB standard at a time when the continent is debating about different technologies and preparing for a massive growth of the digital TV market.

At the NAB 2009 show, SIDSA will bring its experience in the region and feature its cutting-edge Digital Broadcast TV (DVB-H, DVB-T and DVB-C) products and services, and Conditional Access System for Pay TV.

With an office in San Francisco, SIDSA will show a complete DVB-T/S/C headend including its Conditional Access System KeyFly 2.0Xtreme, probably the most advanced CA system in the market. KeyFly2.0Xtreme can be implemented in CAM modules (PCMCIA/CI cards) and embedded in STB, making possible a flexible and open solution enabling both horizontal and vertical markets.

Graphite Subscriber Manager is the Subscriber Manager by SIDSA that allows the commercial operation of KeyFly2.0Xtreme CAS. It provides simple user-friendly Web interface to configure and operate KeyFly2.0Xtreme system: define packages/bouquets, products, pricing, manage users, subscriptions, create reports…

SIDSA is one of the top three vendors of DVB-H mobile TV technology worldwide. The company is able to provide complete turn-key solutions to its customers, being specially known for the high degree of interoperability and resilience of the solution. At the show, SIDSA will be broadcasting a DVB-H signal, and interoperability of SIDSA platform with the most well-known DVB-H terminals in the market will be demonstrated. In addition, the company is introducing the brand new Telefunken TOUCH mTV phones that are revolutionising the DVB-H mobile TV market since they are ready to receive pure DVB-H mobile TV signals and DTT transmissions. SIDSA can provide its customers with an even more complete solution.
