ATLANTA, GA — Taylor Telephone Cooperative, Inc. has signed an agreement to deploy cutting edge video services to its members and customers using Conklin-Intracom’s fs|cdn® integrated IPTV middleware solution.
The service will offer standard definition and high definition channels to members and customers served by a recently completed FTTH initiative using a mix of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoded content and will also include popular on screen DVR & pause live TV capabilities.
Steve Singletary, Assistant Manager for Taylor Telephone elaborates on the decision, “Conklin-Intracom offered us a great solution: a single point of contact, industry recognized customer support, as well as all the features we required and more. This will allow us to provide our members and customers with top of the line video in addition to the high speed data & phone services they already receive from us.”
“This agreement with Taylor Telephone Cooperative demonstrates that our IPTV solution is flexible enough to meet the needs of a growing number of different network configurations. We are very pleased to have been selected as their IPTV solution partner and look forward to supporting them in growing their customer and revenue base.” states Ian Meletios, CEO, Conklin-Intracom.
