Com Hem digital TV subscribers pass 500,000
Tuesday, August 18th, 2009Com Hem is continuing its strong growth. During the second quarter 2009 revenue amounted to 1,023 MSEK, an increase of about 11 percent over the same period in 2008. EBITDA improved by 14 percent to 418 MSEK compared to the same period in 2008.
During the second quarter, Com Hem has continued to invest both in infrastructure and in measures to improve the company’s customer service. Investments amounted to 209 million in the second quarter, which is level with the same period last year.
During the period, the number of digital television subscriptions increased by 4 percent to 504,000 subscriptions. Broadband Customers in the same period increased by 0.3 percent and telephony customers by 3 percent. Com Hem has thus a total of 807 000 subscribing customers.
