Major U.S. pay TV operators lose 665,000 subscribers in 2Q 2016
Aug 15, 2016 – Leichtman Research Group (LRG) has found that the eleven largest pay-TV providers in the US lost about 665,000 net video subscribers in 2Q 2016, compared to a loss of about 545,000 subscribers in 2Q 2015.

Cable ONE adds HBO GO app to TiVo DVR
May 26, 2016 – Cable ONE has announced the launch of HBO GO through its DVR powered by TiVo. The app gives Cable ONE TiVo users, who subscribe to HBO, access to HBO's entire library. The company expects to also launch Hulu on its TiVo devices later this summer.

One billion digital TV households
Jun 10, 2015 – About 455 million digital TV homes were added around the world between end-2010 and end-2014, according to Digital TV Research. This took the total to 1,045 million. Digital TV penetration climbed from 40.5% at end-2010 to 67.2% by end-2014.
