Satellite TV overtakes cable in the Czech Republic
Aug 23, 2010 – ATO and MEDIARESEARCH have released Q2 2010 figures for the Czech Republic television market. Satellite TV reception overtook cable TV in popularity in the quarter reaching 28.9% of households compared with 24.5% for cable and IPTV.

More than half of Germany's households now have digital TV
Sep 8, 2009 – The German regulatory authorities (ALM) have released their 2009 report on the status of digitisation in Germany. By mid-2009, more than half of German TV households (55 per cent) had at least one digital mode of reception at their disposal.
