Worldwide device shipments to increase 2.0% in 2018
Oct 17, 2017 – Worldwide shipments of PCs, tablets and smartphones are predicted to exceed 2.35 billion units in 2018, an increase of 2.0 percent from 2017, according to Gartner. This would be the highest year-over-year growth since 2015.

Worldwide semiconductor sales to grow 6.7% in 2014
Jul 10, 2014 – Worldwide semiconductor revenue is on pace to reach $336 billion in 2014, a 6.7 percent increase from 2013, and up from the previous quarter's forecast of 5.4 percent growth, according to Gartner.
