Rim Semi achieves Best-In-Class Speed over Copper
Jan 29, 2008 – Rim Semiconductor (OTCBB: RSMI) has announced that it has achieved best-in-class data speed on copper wire. Rim Semi's Cupria™ transport processor is now able to drive data traffic at 40 megabits per second (Mpbs) 5,500 feet (1.67km) on 26AWG (0.40mm) telephone wire.
