Czech Republic to begin DVB-T2 trials
Nov 29, 2010 – The Czech Telecommunications Office has commissioned the Czech Metrology Institute to run trials prior to the introduction of DVB-T2 digital terrestrial television broadcasting in the country.

SADC ICT ministers adopt DVB-T2 for digital terrestrial
Nov 24, 2010 – The ministers responsible for ICT in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) have approved recommendations that Member States should adopt DVB-T2 with MPEG-4 compression as the digital terrestrial standard for the region.

Sri Lanka to introduce DVB-T2 broadcasting
Oct 27, 2010 – Sri Lanka's Mass Media Ministry has said that all terrestrial channels in Sri Lanka will move to DVB-T2 broadcasting by 2015. The first region to have the service will be the country's Western Province.

Sweden's Boxer to launch HD DTT on November 1st
Oct 14, 2010 – On November 1 Boxer will begin digital terrestrial HDTV broadcasting in Sweden. Initial coverage will extend to over half of Sweden's households with a phased roll-out planned to eventually cover virtually the entire country.

Bayerischer Rundfunk tests DVB-T2 in Bavaria

Finnish viewers to get terrestrial HDTV
