Ghana's digital migration deadline now March 2016
Jul 2, 2015 – Ghana will migrate fully to digital terrestrial television (DTT) by March 2016, the Ministry of Communications, has stated. Ghana had identified funding sources to implement the project at a cost of US$83 million.

Belarus completes switch to digital television
May 15, 2015 – The Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus (Minsvyazi) has announced that the country has completed its transition to digital TV broadcasting. On May 15, 2015, the final 10 analogue transmitters were switched off.

Ghana to resume digital TV migration project
Mar 9, 2015 – The Commercial Division of Ghana's High Court has dismissed the interlocutory injunction filed by Startimes DTV Ghana to prevent the Ministry of Communications (MoC) from implementing its DTT roadmap following the termination of the previous contract with Starimes.

South Africa plans to migrate to digital 'within 2 years'

GS Group plans satellite broadcasting in Myanmar

MEASAT-3b successfully launched
Sep 12, 2014 – MEASAT has announced the successful launch of the MEASAT-3b satellite. The satellite lifted-off on an Ariane 5 ECA launch vehicle from European Space Port in Kourou, French Guiana at 6:05am MYT (7:05pm GFT).

Belarus reaches 97.4% DTT coverage
Mar 5, 2014 – The Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus has given an update on the status of its project to move the country to DTT broadcasting. Currently 97.4% of households have access to digital TV with this figure expected to reach 98% later this year.

Mexico buys 120,000 digital televisions
Feb 19, 2014 – Mexico's Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) has said that it has purchased 120,000 digital TVs for deployment in the cities of Nuevo Laredo and Reynosa as part of the country's switch over to DTT broadcasting.
