Romania to auction two national DTT multiplexes
Sep 25, 2014 – The Romanian Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) has launched a public consultation in preparation for the auction of two remaining national DTT multiplexes, plus 40 regional and 19 local multiplexes.

May 23, 2013 – According to statistical data reported to the communications regulator, ANCOM, in 2012 the number of pay TV subscribers in Romania exceeded 6 million - a penetration rate of over 85%.

Romanian digital cable take-up on the rise

Number of digital cable subscribers in Romania doubled in 2011
May 22, 2012 – ANCOM has published its half-yearly report on the Romanian electronic communications market for the second half of 2011. The total number of pay TV subscribers was 5.85 million at the end of 2011, up 2% compared with the end of 2010.
