UK's YouView heads towards 400,000 homes

UK's Hyperoptic secures £50 million investment
May 23, 2013 – Hyperoptic has announced that it has received an investment commitment of £50 million led by Quantum Strategic Partners. The funding will enable Hyperoptic to reach more than 500,000 UK homes with its 1Gbps fibre broadband, as well as to develop new products such as IPTV.

BT Vision subscribers up 40,000 to 810,000 in 1Q 2013

BSkyB results for the nine months ended 31 March 2013

Virgin Media TV customers down 13,400 in 1Q 2013
Apr 24, 2013 – Virgin Media (NASDAQ: VMED; LSE: VMED) has announced results for the quarter ended March 31, 2013. The company added 171,900 TiVo customers during the quarter to reach a total of 1.5m, which represents 40% of its TV customer base.
