Verizon adds 5 millionth FiOS Video customer
Jul 18, 2013 – Verizon Communications (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) has reported second-quarter 2013 results. Verizon added 140,000 net FiOS Video connections in the quarter to end with a total of 5.0 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 12.6 percent.

Jul 16, 2013 – Montenegro's Agency for Electronic Media has released subscriber figures for the seven operators authorised to distribute radio and TV programmes to end users in the country. As at June 30, 2013, the number of connections was 144,950, up 6,530 or 4.72% since March 2013, and representing 74.41% of households.

Global pay TV revenues hit $184 billion in 2012
Jul 2, 2013 – The number of pay TV households (analogue and digital) reached 772 million in 2012, up from 585 million in 2008, according to the Digital TV World Databook from Digital TV Research. Asia Pacific increased by 126 million during this period to bring its total to 433 million.
