Worldwide 4Q10 Set Top Box Market Revenues Approach $6 Billion
Apr 19, 2011 – Despite unit shipments remaining relatively flat over the last year, worldwide set top box revenues were actually up in 4Q10 over 4Q09. Total revenues for the quarter were $5.7 billion as compared to $5.2 billion in 4Q09, according to In-Stat.

Global Pay TV Subscribers Increase 6% in 2010 over 2009
Apr 14, 2011 – Over the last few years pay TV subscriber numbers had been negatively impacted. However, things seem to be improving as the total number of pay TV subscribers by year-end 2010 was greater than year-end 2009 by a little over 6%, says In-Stat.
