DIRECTV NOW passes 200k; AT&T linear down 27k; DTVLA down 21k video subs in 4Q 2016
Jan 25, 2017 – AT&T (NYSE:T) has reported 2016 fourth-quarter and full-year results. In the U.S., linear video subscribers were down 27,000 over the period, whilst DIRECTV NOW reached 200,000. DIRECTV Latin America lost 21,000 subscribers.

MAGNA partners with Roku to deliver targeted advertising to OTT audiences

Verizon FIOS video subscribers up 21,000 in 4Q 2016
Jan 24, 2017 – Verizon Communications (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) has reported results for fourth-quarter 2016. In the quarter, Verizon added a net 21,000 Fios Video connections to finish the year with a total of 4.7 million.

EPIX app launches on TiVo set-tops at Atlantic Broadband

Millennials account for nearly half of US 'cordless' population

15% of U.S. broadband households have antenna-only TV service
Jan 18, 2017 – Research from Parks Associates shows that the percentage of U.S. broadband households that use only antennas to receive TV has steadily increased since 2013 to reach 15%. This increase coincides with a drop in pay-TV subscriptions and an increase in Internet-only video subscriptions.

Nielsen gets access to AT&T STB viewing data for ratings measurement

Cable ONE to acquire NewWave Communications
