Sony to launch 4K streaming service on April 4th

OTT growing in Europe, but North America continues to pull ahead
Mar 29, 2016 – According to Parks Associates, OTT video usage in Western Europe is continuing to expand, with 55% of U.K. broadband households and 51% in France watching TV programming and movies online, compared to 70% in the U.S. However, the number of paid subscriptions in Europe is significantly lower.

TV Everywhere reaches 40% of U.S. pay-TV consumers
Mar 23, 2016 – According to Parks Associates, usage of authenticated video viewing, or TV Everywhere, reached 40% of U.S. pay-TV consumers in 2015, up from 22% in 2013. The percentage of respondents watching authenticated video at least once a month is 23%.
