Thaicom, Huawei and Starcor plan OTT TV platform for Thailand
Jun 6, 2017 – Thaicom has announced that it has signed an MOU with Huawei and Starcor Media for the development of an OTT platform in Thailand. The OTT ecosystem will enable telecom operators to integrate OTT services with their products and deliver the content to multiscreen devices.

EUTELSAT 172B satellite soars into space
Jun 2, 2017 – EUTELSAT 172B (Paris:ETL) has been successfully launched into space. The satellite is scheduled to enter service in Q4 2017 providing increased capacity, including in-flight entertainment and connectivity services, to the Asia Pacific region.

ChinaCache receives CDN license from the Chinese Government
Jun 1, 2017 – ChinaCache (Nasdaq:CCIH) has announced that it has received a CDN Business Operating License from China's Ministry of Industry and IT. Starting January 1, 2018, companies without CDN licenses will be prohibited from providing CDN services in China.

Tele Columbus and M7 extend pay TV cooperation

Burkina Faso selects Eutelsat to speed DTT deployment
