TekSavvy launches IPTV in Quebec
Mar 2, 2020 – TekSavvy and its affiliate cable company Hastings Cable Vision have launched their IPTV service, TekSavvy TV, in Quebec. TekSavvy TV offers customers Cloud PVR, access to GO apps, video-on-demand, and over 150 HD channels.

Federal Circuit affirms ITC import ban on Comcast X1 STBs

North American pay TV revenues to fall by $50 billion
Feb 27, 2020 – Pay TV revenues in Canada and the US peaked in 2015 at $112bn. Digital TV Research forecasts that revenues will fall by $50bn to $62bn in 2025. Cable revenues will decline by $22bn. Satellite TV will fall by $21bn and IPTV will drop by $7bn.
