Portugal Telecom selects ARRIS STBs for MEO 4K service
Sep 9, 2016 – ARRIS (NASDAQ: ARRS) has announced that Portugal Telecom has selected the ARRIS VIP5662EW Ultra-HD set-top for its recently launched MEO 4K service in Portugal. The VIP5662EW, known as the MEOBox4k for MEO customers, is an HEVC IP set-top.

Portugal adds 28,000 pay TV subscribers in 1Q 2016
Jun 21, 2016 – According to Portugal’s Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM), there were 3.545 million subscribers to subscription TV in the country at the end of the first quarter of 2016, 28,000 more than in the previous quarter.

HISPASAT and MEO to broadcast Champions League Final and UEFA Euro in 4K

Fibre continues to add share in Portugal in 3Q 2015
