Cablemás expands VOD platform with Conax Xtend Multiscreen™
May 28, 2013 – Conax has announced that Mexican cable operator Cablemás is further expanding their VOD platform with Conax Xtend Multiscreen™. The platform’s Hybrid STBs are being provided by Evolution Digital.

Mexico passes 7 million DTH subscriber mark
May 27, 2013 – According to Mexico’s Telecommunications Sector Production Index (ITEL), at the end of March 2013 there were 7.1 million DTH users in the country. Cable TV finished the quarter with 6 million subscribers.

DIRECTV surpasses 16 million subscriber mark in Latin America
May 7, 2013 – DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV) has announced results for the first quarter of 2013. DIRECTV U.S. subscribers were stable at around 20 million. DTVLA added 583,000 to end with 10.91 million subscribers and Sky Mexico had 5.41 million subscribers as of March 31, 2013.

Televisa adds 1.1 million DTH subscribers in 2012
Feb 26, 2013 – Grupo Televisa (NYSE:TV; BMV:TLEVISA CPO) has announced results for fourth quarter and year 2012. Sky's DTH subscriber base grew by more than 1.1 million to 5,153,445, while cable TV (Cablevisión, Cablemás, TVI) video RGUs expanded by 5.8%.

Mexico adds 1.5 million pay TV subscribers in 2012
Feb 25, 2013 – According to Mexico’s Telecommunications Sector Production Index, at the end of the fourth quarter of 2012 there were 6.9 million DTH subscribers in the country, an increase of 22% versus Q4 2011. Cable TV added 5% to reach 5.9 million.

Zenterio's first commercial launch together with a global system integrator partner
