Broadcom Becomes First to Ship True Single Chip Blu-ray Disc® Solution
Dec 15, 2009 – Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM) has announced that it is the first silicon provider to ship a true single Blu-ray Disc® chip. The new Broadcom® BCM7630 combines optical front-end and back-end video decoding and display technologies on a single die.
