Humax TV Portal Launches with ANT Galio Platform
Feb 9, 2011 – ANT (LSE AIM: ANTP) has announced that Humax (KOSDAQ:028080) has launched its new TV Portal using the ANT Galio Platform. An automatic over-the-air update ran from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th February to all Humax HDR-FOX T2 Freeview+ HD set-top boxes in the UK.

Rwanda to switch to digital TV early in 2011

EU invests €10.5 million in TV digitalisation in Serbia

Sales Of Freeview HD Passes 1 Million Milestone
Feb 2, 2011 – Freeview UK has announced that sales of Freeview HD TVs and boxes have reached 1.2 million. In the nine month period after launch, Freeview estimates that 642,000 homes are now watching Freeview HD.

Paraguay to begin DTT broadcasting in May
Jan 21, 2011 – Paraguay has presented details of its plan to convert the country to digital terrestrial television with technical assistance from Japan. Initial ISDB-Tb broadcasting will begin on May 14, with the project completing in 2016.
