Lattelecom Terrestrial to be Available Throughout Latvia by Year-End
Apr 15, 2009 – Lattelecom's Terrestrial TV services will be available throughout Latvia by the end of 2009, the company has announced. The system is being tested right now and, at the end of April, Lattelecom will begin to also test pay channels.

14% of NZ Homes Now Have Freeview
Apr 15, 2009 – More than 14% of homes in New Zealand now have Freeview according to figures released today. This equates to nearly 10,000 new homes a month (or 72,000 new viewers over the quarter) now enjoying the benefits of free-to-air digital television.

EU matches Japan's Digital TV offer in Peru
Apr 14, 2009 – The European Commission has sent a letter to Peruvian President Alan García proposing to allocate $662,000 to a DVB pilot project. Japan had offered the same amount to carry out an ISDB test.
