U.S. pay TV penetration to fall below 50% in 2026
Feb 7, 2022 – U.S. traditional pay TV penetration will slip below 50% of TV households in 2026. Digital TV Research forecasts 60 million pay TV subscribers by 2027, declining from 105 million in the peak year of 2010.

STARZPLAY International subscribers grew 98% in 2021

Comcast cable video subscribers down 373,000 in 4Q 2021
Jan 27, 2022 – Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) has reported results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2021. Cable video customer net losses were 373,000 in the final quarter. At Sky, Total Customer Relationships increased by 61,000 in Q4 to 23.0 million.
