Shaw surpasses 1,000,000 HD customer mark
Apr 9, 2010 – Shaw Communications (TSX: SJR.B, NYSE: SJR) has announced results for the second quarter ended February 28, 2010. During the quarter, digital cable customers increased 98,544 to 1,508,527. DTH customers increased 1,071.

427,000 pay TV subscribers in Uruguay at end-2009
Apr 9, 2010 – The Uruguayan communications regulator URSEC has released a survey of the telecommunications market in Uruguay up to the end of December 2009. The number of Pay TV subscribers at the end of the year was 427,000 up from 416,000 at the end of 2008.

COGECO digital cable up 26k subscribers in quarter to end-February

Ziggo prepares for 3D
