Sep 29, 2008 – TechnoTrend AG has agreed on a cooperation with the Tele Columbus Group. TechnoTrend will develop and deliver a new receiver model with the encryption system NDS VideoGuard by the beginning of the year 2009.

Tele Columbus and Kaon cooperate on HD PVR
Aug 29, 2008 – Cable operator Tele Columbus is working with set-top box manufacturer Kaon Media on the joint development of an HDTV PVR. The new product is planned to be launched in Germany in the first quarter of 2009.

NDS Group plc Reports Third Quarter Results
May 1, 2008 – NDS (NASDAQ: NNDS) has announced its operating results for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. NDS had 86.9 million active digital TV smart cards, 83.1 million cumulative middleware clients deployed and 12.1 million cumulative DVR clients deployed.
