Cyfrowy Polsat reaches 2.8 million subscribers
May 12, 2009 – Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. (Warsaw: CPS), the largest provider of pay DTH satellite television broadcasting services in Poland, had 2,802,056 subscribers as of 31 March 2009, 28.1% more than as at 31 March 2008.

Shanghai has 800,000 IPTV subscribers
May 12, 2009 – Statistics from Shanghai Telecom and Shanghai-based cable TV operator Oriental Cable Network (OCN) show that through the end of 2008 Shanghai had almost 800,000 IPTV subscribers and nearly 600,000 cable DTV subscribers.
