Dutch digital TV subscribers grow to 6.72 million in Q1 2014

Sigma Designs reports 1Q FY2015 results
Jun 11, 2014 – Sigma Designs (NASDAQ: SIGM) has reported results for its first fiscal quarter of FY2015 ended May 3, 2014. Net revenues for the quarter were $36.9 million, down $15.7 million, or 29.8%, from $52.5 million reported for the same period last year.

European pay TV revenues flatten in 2014
Jun 11, 2014 – European pay TV revenues will reach $40.35 billion in 2014, up from $36.87 billion in 2010, according to a report from Digital TV Research. However, the 2014 total will only be up 0.6% on 2013.

IP video to be 79% of all IP traffic by 2018, up from 66% in 2013
Jun 10, 2014 – According to the Cisco Visual Networking Index, global IP traffic will increase nearly three-fold over the next five years with IP video making up 79 percent of all IP traffic in 2018, up from 66 percent in 2013.

Peru adds 65,600 pay TV subscribers in 2013
Jun 10, 2014 – Peru's telecoms regulator (OSIPTEL) has released pay TV statistics for the country to the end of 2013. The country added 65,601 subscribers during 2013, to finish the year at 1,384,884, up 34,912 in the final quarter.
