Angola Telecom launches television by satellite in Cabinda
Dec 9, 2009 – Angola Telecom has launched a DTH television service in the Angolan enclave of Cabinda under the name 'UAU TV'. The service consists of 12 channels including TPA 1 and 2, RTP-África, RTP Internacional, TVZimbo and Band Internacional.

ASTRO Malaysia adds 94k DTH subscribers in quarter to end-October
Dec 9, 2009 – ASTRO ALL ASIA NETWORKS has announced results for the period ended 31 October 2009. In the quarter, Astro TV added 94,000 net subscribers in Malaysia and Sun Direct TV in India added 500,000 new customers, bringing its total to 4.0 million.

TivùSat ships half millionth card

DNA launches HDTV DVB-T2 test broadcasts in Finland
