DTH TV platforms to pass $100 Billion in revenues this year
Nov 12, 2013 – Euroconsult has announced the release of its yearly reference report on satellite television. The 202 million DTH subscribers in over 100 countries (early in 2013) will result in over $100 billion in revenues this year.

Dune HD and Quadrille partner to bring satellite-based push-VoD to developing regions
Nov 12, 2013 – Dune HD has partnered with French VOD technology provider Quadrille to create a receiver able to download content by means of 'Push VOD', giving operators in developing regions the means to offer content choice even where broadband access is limited.

Sky Deutschland subscribers pass 3.5 million in 3Q 2013
Nov 5, 2013 – Sky Deutschland has announced its Q3 2013 results. The number of direct subscribers grew by 76,000 (Q3 2012: 79,900) to 3,529,000 customers (Q3 2012: 3,212,000) at the end of September.

Airtel launches SD set-top box with external storage

eircom's eVision TV launches with Netgem STBs

BSkyB results for the three months ended 30 September 2013
Oct 17, 2013 – BSkyB (LSE:BSY) has released unaudited results for the three months ended 30 September 2013. Sky added 37,000 net new TV customers and 107,000 new customers to HD. A record 642,000 customers connected their Sky+HD boxes to broadband in the quarter.
