Multichoice Africa DTH reaches 1 million subscribers in 3Q09
Nov 26, 2009 – Naspers (JSE: NPN)(LSE:NPSN) has announced results for the six months ended 30 September 2009. In South Africa the base grew by 238,000 to 2,639,000 households. In the rest of sub-Saharan Africa the base grew by 114,000 to 1,030,000 homes.

Com Hem adds 40k digital TV subscribers in 3Q09
Nov 25, 2009 – Com Hem has reported results for the first three quarters of 2009. Between the second and third quarter of 2009, the number of digital television subscribers increased by 8 percent to nearly 545,000 customers.

SiOL TV reaches 105k subscribers in Slovenia at end-3Q09
Nov 20, 2009 – The Telekom Slovenia Group (Telekom Slovenije, d.d.) [Ljubljana:TLSG] has released its business report for 3Q 2009. In Slovenia, the number of SiOL TV subscribers was up 59% on a year earlier to pass 105,000 at the end of the period.

Nov 11, 2009 – Swisscom (Swiss: SCMN) has released its Interim Report for the January - September 2009 period. The number of Bluewin TV customers virtually doubled compared with the previous year to 186,000 at the end of the third quarter of 2009.

SingTel mio TV IPTV adds 25k subscribers in 3Q09
Nov 11, 2009 – SingTel (Singapore: SGX; Australia: ASX) has announced results for its second quarter ending 30 September 2009. During the quarter, mio TV, SingTel's pay TV service, attracted 25,000 new customers to reach 126,000 as at 30 September 2009.

StarHub adds 7k digital TV subscribers in 3Q09
Nov 10, 2009 – StarHub (Singapore: CC3) has reported 2009 third quarter and year-to-date results. StarHub's pay TV customer base was up 3% year-on-year to 535,000. Digital customers now make up 100% of the total pay TV customer base.

China Digital TV Announces Unaudited Third Quarter 2009 Results

Cyfrowy Polsat subscriber base grows 73 thousand in Q309
Nov 10, 2009 – Cyfrowy Polsat (Warsaw: CPS) has released its results for the period ended 30 September 2009. Cyfrowy Polsat had 2,916,750 subscribers at quarter end. The company is considering starting production of its own high definition set-top boxes in 2010.
