New Zealand Sky PVR installations reach 100k in 2Q09
Aug 21, 2009 – New Zealand's SKY Television (NZX: SKT) has announced result for the year ended 30 June 2009. SKY's subscriber base grew by 30,326 (4.1%) subscribers over the previous year, to a new high of 778,902.

Cyfrowy Polsat adds 42k subscribers in 2Q09
Aug 20, 2009 – Cyfrowy Polsat (Warsaw: CPS) had 2,844,106 DTH subscribers as of 30 June 2009 - 24.3% more than at 30 June 2008. Since starting sales of own-manufactured set-top boxes in March 2008, Polsat has sold or leased about 354 thousand to subscribers.

PCCW 'now TV' subscriber base up 7% Y-o-Y at end-June 2009
Aug 20, 2009 – PCCW (SEHK:0008) has reported interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2009. The 'now TV' installed base increased by 7% year-on-year to 992,000 at the end of June, while the paying base was up 6% year-on-year to 705,000.

Amino announces results for the six months ended 31 May 2009
Aug 18, 2009 – Amino Technologies (LSE: AMO) has announced results for the period ended 31 May 2009. Amino saw a 30% reduction in unit shipments to 178,000. Unit shipments in Europe were slightly ahead of the corresponding period last year at 146,000 units.

FOXTEL Announces Solid Subscriber and Financial Growth in a Tough Environment
Aug 13, 2009 – FOXTEL has announced results for the year ended 30 June 2009. At end-June, FOXTEL had 1.63m direct and wholesale subscribers. FOXTEL managed subscribers increased by 110k (8%) over the previous year while wholesale subscribers fell by 15%.

Boxer pay TV subscribers down 7k in Sweden & Denmark in 2Q09
Aug 13, 2009 – At the end of the second quarter 2009, DTT operator Boxer had 673,000 subscribers in Sweden and Denmark, down from 701,000 at the same time in 2008. The acquisition of Finland's PlusTV added 276,000 subscribers, to give a total of 949,000.

Aug 13, 2009 – Insight Communications has announced results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. In the quarter, Insight had a digital customer net gain of 13,200. Total digital customers at quarter end were 483,400.

Aug 13, 2009 – Sky Deutschland (PRE.XE) has announced results for the second quarter of 2009. Sky had a total of 2.364m direct subscribers at the end of Q2 2009, 7k less than in Q1 2009.
