NGB Collaborates With Local Ghanaian Channels On DTT Platform
Mar 31, 2010 – Next Generation Broadcasting (NGB) Ghana Ltd is planning to launch a Digital Terrestrial Pay TV service in Ghana branded SMART TV. SMART TV will provide customer with both free to air and pay TV channels.

DTT to begin in Cyprus in 2010
Dec 7, 2009 – The government of Cyprus has announced the auction of the second digital terrestrial TV broadcasting licence to go alongside that which has been given to the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, with a plan that services should begin in May 2010.

AXTEL awarded licence to provide pay TV in Mexico
Sep 15, 2009 – AXTEL (BMV: AXTELCPO; OTC: AXTLY) has announced that it has been issued with a concession to provide satellite pay TV services in Mexico. AXTEL plans to offer bundled services of voice, data and video in early 2010.

Brazil ISDB set-top box sales still slow
Jul 21, 2009 – According to Brazil's Minister of Communications, digital TV set top boxes are still selling slowly. It has been estimated that only 250,000 units have been sold since the introduction of the ISDB service at the end of 2007.

Botswana creates Digital Migration Task Force

Digital television available to 80% of Belarusians by 2011

Italy - Rules for IDTV tax rebate eligibility finalised
