Connected TV sales growing fast in Europe
Jul 17, 2011 – According to BITKOM, quoting data from the European Information Technology Observatory (EITO), sales of connected TVs in the European Union will reach 10 million units this year, rising to 13 million in 2012.

E.U. Sales of Blu-ray players set to break all records
Jul 28, 2010 – Sales of Blu-ray players in Europe are set to reach a new record high in 2010. Around 4.6 million units will be sold in EU member states, more than doubling the previous figure, according to the European Information Technology Observatory (EITO).
