Algar Telecom to offer IPTV in Brazil in 2H 2013
Mar 8, 2013 – Algar Telecom has been running an IPTV trial with three ISPs associated with its distribution partner WDC Networks. The trial is due to finish at the end of March with a commercial service, to be called ISP TV, to be launched in the second half of this year.

May 21, 2010 – Algar Telecom has launched a pay TV satellite service in Brazil. The service, called CTBC TV, is being sold initially in the cities of Uberlândia, Uberaba, Patos de Minas, Araguari, Pará de Minas, Ituiutaba (MG), Itumbiara (GO) and Franca (SP).
