Western Europe to reach 65 million SVOD subscribers
Sep 21, 2017 – Western European SVOD revenues will increase to $6.5 billion by 2022, up from $2.8 billion in 2016. SVOD became the region’s largest OTT revenue source in 2016, overtaking AVOD. SVOD’s share of OTT revenues will continue to grow, according to Digital TV Research.

eMarketer lowers US TV ad spend estimate as cord-cutting accelerates

Netflix expected to withdraw from Russia

Major U.S. pay TV providers lost 656,000 subscribers in 2Q 2017

Dish TV India adds 186,000 subscribers in 2Q 2017
Aug 17, 2017 – Dish TV India (BSE: 532839, NSE: DISHTV) has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017. Net additions at 0.186 million were higher by 12.7% on a Q-o-Q basis. Churn at 1% p.m. was slightly higher than the 0.9% p.m. in the previous quarter.
