Sep 6, 2007 – Neotion developed the concept of a credit card sized MPEG-4 decoder that plugs into IDTVs and set-top boxes that have a Common Interface (DVB-CI) slot. The new NP4+ processor is their latest SoC that combines MPEG-4 decoding, MPEG-2 transcoding and security modes for use in such modules.

Sep 6, 2007 – Latens has announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Dubai-based telco, du, to protect its IPTV service. du, the new telecom operator in United Arab Emirates (UAE), has acquired over 500,000 customers.
