PARROT unveils DVB-T2 car TV reception modules
Dec 3, 2014 – Parrot has announced a new family of modules dedicated to car infotainment. The STH modules support the major broadcast standards deployed worldwide, from AM/FM radio to DVB-T2. A 3rd generation of Octopus chips is at the heart of the modules.

UK to re-allocate 700MHz DTT spectrum to mobile broadband

IPTV will account for 24% of UK media connections by end-2018
Nov 17, 2014 – Quantum-Web analysis shows that IPTV share of media connections doubled during 2014, rising from 7.4% at end-2013 to 14.9% at end-2014. This shift towards IPTV will continue and IPTV will account for 23.7% of UK media connections by end-2018.
