South African TV households to grow 10% by 2018

Albania to roll-out DVB-T2 network with Rohde & Schwarz
Dec 8, 2015 – Albania’s public broadcaster RTSH (Albanian Radio and Television) is converting its nationwide broadcast network to DVB-T2. Rohde & Schwarz is delivering a turnkey solution. 96.5 percent of the population in Albania will then receive digital DVB-T2 signals.

Ten more ATSC 3.0 specifications move to Candidate Standard

EMEA UHF spectrum to remain with DTT until at least 2023

Zimbabwe chooses Eutelsat to accelerate transition to digital TV
Nov 17, 2015 – Eutelsat (Paris:ETL) has announced that it has sealed a contract with the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) for Ku-band capacity on EUTELSAT 3B. The capacity will be used to deliver channels to a nationwide network of 48 DTT transmitters.
