Comcast cable video subscribers down 399,000 in 2Q 2021
Jul 29, 2021 – Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. Cable video customer net losses were 399,000 in the quarter. At Sky, Total Customer Relationships decreased by 248,000 to 23.2 million.

Gap between OTT and traditional pay TV continues to widen in the U.S.
Jul 28, 2021 – Parks Associates' latest Video Services Dashboard reveals that 82% of US broadband households subscribe to at least one OTT service, up six points Y-o-Y, while 58% subscribe to a traditional pay-TV service, down four points Y-o-Y.

DIRECTV becomes a standalone video business

AT&T premium TV down 473k; Vrio down 239k; HBO up 3.6M video subs in 2Q 2021
Jul 22, 2021 – AT&T (NYSE:T) has reported results for 2Q 2021. Global HBO Max and HBO subscribers grew by 3.6 million. Total U.S. premium TV connections were down 473,000 in the quarter. Vrio in Latin America lost 239,000 subscribers.

Verizon FIOS consumer video subscribers down 62,000 in 2Q 2021
