Pace plc: Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2012
Mar 5, 2013 – Pace plc (LSE: PIC) has announced its results for the year ended 31 December 2012. STB and Media Server revenues were up 2.9% to $1,826.0m in 2012, driven largely by the high demand for Media Servers in H2 for both DIRECTV's Genie™ Advanced Whole-Home HD DVR and the XG1 for Comcast's new X1 service.

TivùSat reaches 1.8 million active smart cards
Mar 4, 2013 – Italian satellite TV platform TivùSat has announced that it now has more than 1.8 million active smart cards in 1.5 million households. The regions with the highest penetration levels are Calabria, Liguria, Molise, Valle d'Aosta, Basilicata and Sicily.

Telecom TV Services Increase Share of U.S. VOD-Movie-Rental Market
Mar 4, 2013 – According to The NPD Group, in 2012, cable-TV operators continued to control over half (56%) of the overall $1.3 billion U.S. multichannel video programming distributor (MVPD) transactional-VOD-movie market, followed by satellite-TV operators (27%), and telecom operators (18%).

Colombia adds 440,000 pay TV subscribers in 2012
Mar 1, 2013 – Colombia's Autoridad Nacional de Televisión (ANTV) has published pay TV subscriber figures for the country up to December 2012. The total number of subscribers grew from 3.87 million at the end of 2011, to 4.31 million at the end of 2012, a year-on-year growth rate of 11.3%.

Satellite subscribers grow 25% in Croatia in 2012
Mar 1, 2013 – The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has reported market data for the end of the fourth quarter of 2012. Satellite TV was the fastest growing segment of the television market with subscriptions growing by 25% over the year. IPTV remains the leading pay TV technology with more than 360,000 subscribers.

55% TV digitisation target achieved in India's Phase II cities
Mar 1, 2013 – A review by India's Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has shown that a digitisation rate of over 55% has been achieved in the 38 cities set for digitisation by March 31, 2013. A total of 8.77 million set-top boxes have been installed.

Deutsche Telekom adds 413,000 Entertain TV subscribers in 2012
Feb 28, 2013 – Deutsche Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) has released results for 2012. The number of customers with the company's Entertain television service went up by 26.6 percent year-on-year to 2.0 million. Entertain via Sat, available since September 2011, made up 299,000 of the total.

Telefónica pay TV subscribers stable over 2012 at 3.3 million
Feb 28, 2013 – Telefónica (Madrid and NYSE: TEF) has released its fourth quarter and 2012 results. The company finished 2012 with 3.3 million pay TV subscribers, 0.8% up on the end of 2011. Losses in Europe and Brazil were offset by growth elsewhere in Latin America.

Sky Deutschland customer base up 351,000 in 2012
Feb 28, 2013 – Sky Deutschland has released 2012 full-year results. Sky's customer base grew by 351,000 (or 12%) to 3,363,000 at year's end. The number of Sky+ customers increase by 126% to 929,000.
