U.S. STB initiative saves consumers $2 billion in energy costs

Major U.S. pay TV providers lost ~1,230,000 subscribers in 2Q 2021
Aug 17, 2021 – Leichtman Research Group (LRG) has found that the largest pay-TV providers in the U.S. lost about 1,230,000 net video subscribers in 2Q 2021, compared to a pro forma net loss of about 1,505,000 in 2Q 2020.

Deutsche Telekom TV subscribers up 37,000 in Germany in 2Q 2021
Aug 12, 2021 – Deutsche Telekom has released results for the second quarter of 2021. In Germany, 37,000 new TV customers were recorded in the quarter, taking the total number to 3.933 million, an increase of 5.6 percent compared with June 2020.

Türk Telekom TV Home subscribers flat at 1.5 million in 2Q 2021
