Mozambique adopts DVB-T2 for digital terrestrial broadcasting
Jan 19, 2011 – The Instituto Nacional das Comunicações de Moçambique (INCM) has announced that the country will adopt DVB-T2 for its migration to digital terrestrial television (DTT) broadcasting. Installation of infrastructure should begin this year.

Ofcom releases 3Q 2010 UK Digital Television Update
Jan 18, 2011 – Consumer survey results for the third quarter of 2010 show that take-up of digital television in UK households stood at 92.6%, up by 3.1 percentage points year on year. This figure was flat quarter on quarter.

South Africa reaffirms commitment to DVB for DTT
Jan 14, 2011 – South Africa's Minister of Communications has said that RRC-06 adopted DVB-T as the DTT standard for Region 1 (Africa, Europe and the Middle East). All African countries are signatories to the agreement and are legally bound by its requirements.
