Germany - GfK Consumer Electronics market report 2007
Jul 10, 2008 – According to GfK, the development of the German CE Market in 2007 was - once again - positive. Total CE turnover (including IT and Telecom) grew by 3.7% to a total volume of 23 billion Euros.

Spain - July DTT monthly update released

Pioneer Succeeds in Developing World's First 16-Layer Optical Disc
Jul 7, 2008 – Pioneer has succeeded in developing a 16-layer read-only optical disc with a capacity of 400 gigabytes for the first time in the world. Its per-layer capacity is 25 gigabytes, which is the same as that of a Blu-ray Disc (BD).

Digital television now in 40% of Dutch households
